YMCA offers day camp during anticipated teacher walkout

Ponca City Now - March 15, 2018 1:29 pm

The Ponca City YMCA is accepting registration from the community for children to attend a day camp during the anticipated teacher walk-out scheduled to start April 2.

Spaces for the camp are limited and cost will be $25 per day for the days children attend. The YMCA is asking for business donations to cover the cost of about 10 children for one week. Any money not used for this camp would be used instead for scholarships for the summer camp, the board decided Thursday in its monthly meeting. Any business wishing to make a donation may contact Casey Doty at the YMCA, (580) 765-5417.
