Work begins on building for monument company

A crew from Old School Plaster and Stucco works on remodeling a building on the southeast corner of Hartford Avenue and Fifth Street on Tuesday morning.

The building previously has housed a dry cleaners and a gasoline station.

It will become home to a new monument company after renovations are completed.
