Amber Lee Oleary, 31, remains hospitalized at Ponca City Medical Center today after she was shot Wednesday evening at Third Street and Cleveland Avenue.

The Communications Center received a call reporting the shooting about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Ponca City Police spokeswoman Sherry Bowers said an argument ensued between the victim, who was standing in the street on Cleveland Avenue, and an acquaintance in the back seat of a vehicle.

The victim said the man who shot her was in the front passenger seat of the vehicle. The victim told police she only knows the first name of the man that shot her.
