HOBART, Okla. (AP) – The girlfriend of an Altus radio personality has been convicted of first-degree murder in the man’s shooting death.

A Kiowa County jury deliberated for less than two hours Friday before finding 43-year-old Sandra Woodard guilty of first-degree murder in the January 2014 death of Harley Moody.

Woodard had said the shooting was an accident during a sex game.

The jury recommended a sentence of life without parole. Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 4.

Moody was a morning radio personality at KEYB in Altus.
