‘Wizard of Oz’ showing Friday at The Poncan Theatre

The Poncan Theatre presents “The Wizard of Oz” at 7 and 10  p.m. Friday, Sept. 20.

General admission is $5 for both shows. VIP kids’ tickets are available for the 7 p.m. showing.
A VIP kid’s ticket is valued at more than $21, but will only cost $10!

The VIP kid’s ticket includes:

  • A small combo & candy from concessions ($8 value)
  • Face painting by “Face to Face Painting” between 5 and 7 p.m.  at the Ponca City Birthday Bash ($7 value)
  • A VIP lanyard
  • And admission to the movie!

Kids’ tickets are intended for children 12 years of age or younger.

“​The Wizard of Oz” is a 1939 American musical fantasy film produced by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Widely considered to be one of the greatest films in cinema history, it is the best-known and most commercially successful adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s 1900 children’s book “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.” Directed primarily by Victor Fleming, the film stars Judy Garland as Dorothy Gale alongside Ray Bolger, Jack Haley and Bert Lahr.
