A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS EVENING.

* EVENT: WIDESPREAD ONE TO TWO INCH SNOW AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH THE DAY TODAY WITH AMOUNTS OF THREE TO FOUR INCHES POSSIBLE OVER NORTHWEST AND NORTH-CENTRAL OKLAHOMA.

* TIMING: SNOW WILL SHIFT TO THE EAST AND SOUTH THROUGH THE DAY WITH SNOW STARTING IN THE OKLAHOMA CITY METRO AREA BY LATE MORNING. ALL OF THE SNOW WILL TAPER OFF TO FLURRIES BY EVENING… ENDING FROM WEST TO EAST.

* MAIN IMPACT: ROADS… BRIDGES… SIDEWALKS… AND PARKING LOTS IN THE ADVISORY AREA MAY BECOME SLICK AND HAZARDOUS AS SNOW ACCUMULATES DURING THE DAY.
