Wildcats to Play Choctaw Friday Night

The Ponca City Wildcats will play their final regular season home game on Friday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. at Sullins Stadium against Choctaw.

The Wildcats are 5-4 on the season and 5-1 in district play. The Cats lost their first four games of the season against Guthrie, Enid, Sand Springs and Deer Creek. They have since won five consecutive conference games against Lawton, Putnam City North, Putnam City, Capitol Hill and NW Classen. With a win on Friday night, PCPS would secure second place in the district and would have a first-round playoff bye.

Choctaw is 6-1 overall and 5-1 in district play. They have wins against Westmoore, Putnam City North, Capitol Hill, NW Classen, Lawton and Putnam City. Their single loss of the season was to Deer Creek by a score of 25-20.
