Wildcat of the Week #1 is Madison Thibodeaux

Ponca City Public Schools - September 16, 2022 5:43 pm

The Heather Cannon Wildcat of the Week #1 for the 2022-2023 school year was presented to Po-Hi senior Madison Thibodeaux. Superintendent Shelley Arrott said, “Madison is a very involved Wildcat who is a joy to be around. She is juggling high school classes, concurrent enrollment, is member of the Wildcat Chorale and Business Professionals of America, AND works part-time at Hobby Lobby, and is managing all these extremely well. She maintains excellent grades, has a can-do attitude, and is an exemplary employee at work. She demonstrates the characteristics of the Wildcat Way no matter what she is doing!”
“All of Madison’s teachers say that she comes to class every single day with a positive attitude and is eager to help others, so she definitely is a wonderful role model for others with her attitude and teamwork. She is charismatic, enthusiastic, and is a delight to have in class. Madison has been a member of the Mock Trial Team and was named “top attorney” twice! She constantly strives to improve and competes against herself to be the best she can be in the classroom, with her extra-curriculars and as a friend to others. On top of her many other talents, Madison sings beautifully and loves developing her talent in chorale.
“Madison, I so enjoyed getting to know you during the Wildcat of the Week presentation in your chorale class! Your teachers are right; you are charismatic and a joy to be around and I could tell other students think that, too. I did find out that you and some of your friends are dedicated vloggers and love to vlog about chorale happenings. I actually subscribed to your YouTube called mrs. worldwives. It is obvious you love life and have fun with your friends and like to include Mr. Keilman in your vlogs when he least expects it! He is a great sport about it! It is a breath of fresh air to see you and your friends spreading joy in a world where there is so much negativity!”
“You mentioned you plan to attend NOC for basics and then hopefully go to OSU to major in sociology or political science, but you also mentioned your plans could change! That is fine if they do! With your fun-loving personality, work ethic, and wonderful attitude, you can be or do anything. However, I think you should be a teacher! Kids would love you and enjoy being in your classroom. Kids learn the most when they have fun!”
Thank you for making a positive impact on the culture of PO-HI. Your charisma is contagious and when anyone is around you, moods instantly improve. Even with your busy schedule, you remain upbeat and positive, and I love that you take time to have fun and enjoy life! You are an outstanding young lady and I am so proud you are a Ponca City Wildcat!”
