Coach Ivan McFarlin expects big things of Wildcat Men’s Basketball this year. “I’m so excited for the men’s basketball season and what is in store for these young men. They have been working very hard in practice and the scrimmages have been great learning tests for our growth of getting better. Our senior core of Luke Seals, Ben Suprobo, Travaughn Tipton and Daniel LoFele have not been disappointing!! They have worked hard and they are eager to improve this year. Luke Seals has been working very hard in the summer and during the beginning of the school year. I’m excited to see him have a great year!! The juniors and sophomores have been super pumped and ready for this season to begin. Core guys like Collin Crandall, Culley Porter, Anthony Gazaway, Jaden Schneeberger, Justin Thompson, Tyler Parcell, Steven Faulkner, and Kian Moore have been working hard in practice getting better. The sophomore core of Brooks Revard, Elijah Phillips, Nate Collins, Tyson Dewberry, Nate Patel, Hunter Irons, Issac Valencia, Grant Dye and Lane Scholey have gained experience from last year playing on the freshman team. They will help us improve this year. New additions of Marshaun Webb, Nate Patel and Ben Suprobo has been helpful to the basketball program. I am so blessed to have a great coaching staff of Coach Lutz, Coach Parker, Coach Green and Coach Parent. They have worked continuously for our varsity, junior varsity, 9th grade, and 8th grade programs. I cannot forget my manager staff of Kyrstin, Bryanna, Elizabeth, and Cole, the women’s basketball coaching staff, Jason Leavitt and the whole athletic department for their support.

I can’t wait for this season to get going and represent for Ponca City!! Let’s get this season started!!! Also can’t wait for the 9th grade basketball team to get started and represent for the city and community!!”
