Wichita woman injured in accident near Kaw City

A Wichita woman was injured in an accident at about 4:15 p.m. Sunday at 13900 East Highway 11, about two miles east of Kaw City in Kay County.

Lisa Webber, 53, was transported by MediFlight to St Francis Hospital in Wichita, where she was admitted in stable condition with leg injuries.

She was driving an Artic Cat ATV uphill on a curve when it struck an area of large rocks and rolled three times.

The incident was investigated by Trooper Kelle of the Kay/Noble Detachment of Troop K., assisted by Trooper Kuhn, the Kay County Sheriff’s Office, Ponca City EMS, Ponca City Fire Department, the Army Corps of Engineers, the Osage County Sheriff’s Office, and MediFlight.
