Oklahoma Senator Markwayne Mullin stood up during a Senate hearing Tuesday, apparently trying to fight Teamsters President Sean O’Brien.

The hearing was addressing unions in the Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions. O’Brien had previously challenged Mullin to a fight in a Tweet in June.

Mullin read off some of O’Brien’s tweets during the hearing, leading to the following exchange.

Mullin: Sir, this is a time, this is a place. You want to run your mouth? We can be two consenting adults. We can finish it here.

O’Brien: Okay, that’s fine. Perfect.

Mullin: You want to do it right now?

O’Brien: I’d love to do it right now.

Mullin: Well stand your butt up then.

O’Brien: You stand your butt up, big guy.

Mullin then stood up and started taking his wedding ring off. Mullin fought as an MMA fighter before becoming a Senator.

Senator Bernie Sanders intervened and Mullin sat back down.

Mullin and O’Brien continued talking about fighting until another senator was recognized to take the floor.
