Water valves to be replaced

Ponca City Now - October 9, 2015 9:07 am

On Tuesday, Oct. 13, and Wednesday, Oct.14, Utility Maintenance will replace two 8 inch valves on the water main at the intersection of First Street and Central Avenue. The intersection will be closed to all traffic from 9 a.m. Tuesday until 3 p.m. Wednesday. Signing and barricades will be in place to direct and detour traffic around the work zone.

Only one customer in the area will lose water service from 8 to 10 a.m. on Wednesday. This customer has already been notified by the Utility Maintenance Superintendent.

The work is anticipated to be completed by 3 p.m. Wednesday. For more information, please contact Darwin Haney, Utility Maintenance Superintendent, at 767-0485.
