Washington Pre-K recently held outdoor graduation ceremonies in shifts so all family members could attend. A total of 11 graduation ceremonies were held.

Students walked down Seventh Street and onto the ceremony stage to the song “Best Day of My Life” by American Authors. Each class sang a song or recited a poem for their families. Mrs. Fisher, principal, welcomed families and spoke about the school year and thanked the teachers, students and parents for their dedication this year.

Each student was presented with a diploma. Parents were invited to take pictures with their children following the ceremony with a balloon backdrop. Each class celebrated with a small reception in the classroom.

“We were so happy we were able to celebrate and honor our Pre-K graduates with their families present,” said Mrs. Fisher. “It really meant a lot to us to finally be able to share in one of our traditions together.”
