UPDATE: Trooper Says Missing 4-Year-Old Found Dead In McIntosh County

McIntosh County, OKLAHOMA – 

A four-year-old boy from McIntosh County who was missing for over 24 hours has been found dead, according to law enforcement on the scene. An Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper said all indications are that the boy, Zaiven, drowned.

Heartbreaking update to the story of the missing boy from Emerald Bay, near Checotah.
-OHP says video showed Zaiven Howke was last seen running toward a dock at the lake and he tried to go around a locked dock gate and fell into the water and never came back up.
-Troopers say they recovered his body in about 7 feet of water, 42 feet south of the shore tonight around 6:42 pm.
-Dozens of agencies and volunteers have been searching for Zaiven since yesterday afternoon, when he wandered off.
-Earlier today, his mother thanked all those who were searching and praying for her little boy.
