Update on patient information breach affecting Kay County

Clinics affected by the patient information breach were Kay County Anesthesia, Kay County Cardiology, Kay County Clinic Company, Kay County Ear, Nose and Throat, Kay County Family Medicine, Kay County Surgical Associates and Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine.
Eric Lybarger, Ponca City Medical Center Marketing Director said this didn’t invovled hospital patients or ER patients, just clinic patients.
Lybarger also said all affected patients should receive a letter by Aug. 30.
