A University of Tennessee football equipment truck was involved in a crash on Interstate 40 at the I-30 interchange early Sunday morning.

The Tennessee Volunteers defeated the Oklahoma Sooners 25-15 in Norman on Saturday night. The bus was presumably returning to Knoxville from the game.

The crash shut down eastbound lanes earlier in the morning but debris has since been cleared, ARDOT officials confirmed.

ARDOT says the truck ran into a barrier wall of I-40 east at mile marker 154.

Officials say the incident did not cause any injuries, nor did it damage the bridge or any other vehicles.
