United Way Donor Dash Fundraiser Begins Wednesday

Since 1938 United Way of North Central Oklahoma has been bringing our community together to focus on the most important human needs — building partnerships, forging consensus and leveraging resources to make a measurable difference. United Way and its partner agencies focus on community needs under 3 focus areas, Education, Financial Stability and Health/Safety. We want to help children and youth succeed, strengthen and support families, promoting self-sufficiency, collaborating to insure vital and safe neighborhoods, and supporting vulnerable and aging populations. A lot has changed since 1938. But the one thing that has remained the same is the giving spirit of the citizens that live in North Central Oklahoma. It’s the spirit to LIVE UNITED that rallies citizens to contribute their time, treasure and talent; the spirit of everyone pitching in to help others. When we Live United, We Thrive as a community.

United Way we are having a DONOR DASH- Help us Unite 85 new donors in 85 hours

United Way of North Central Oklahoma will be having a DONOR DASH EVENT to united new donors. United Way of North Central Oklahoma (UWNCO)unites people and resources to improve lives and strengthen our communities. To do this, UWNCO — with hundreds of individual donors and companies — raises more than $450 Thousand each year to support 8 local non-profit organizations with 10 programs empower a community working together to ensure that all of its members flourish and thrive. We need your help!!

The event starts on Wednesday 12/13/2023 8AM and continues through Saturday 12/16/23 9PM.

To celebrate 85 years, United Way of North Central Oklahoma, we’re uniting 85 new donors through giving over the next 85 hours. Here’s how it works:

1. GIVE! If you haven’t made your pledge yet this fall, what are you waiting for? Donations of every size make a difference!
2. SHARE! There are definitely more than 85 reasons to support UWNCO. What’s your why? Spread the word on social media with the hashtag #85reasons.
3. CELEBRATE! 50% of our annual fundraising comes from individuals like you. Together, we are improving the lives of thousands of people across North Central Oklahoma. Thank you for Living United!
