Unidentified man injured in accident near Barnsdall

An unidentified Barnsdall man was injured in an accident about 11:55 p.m. Monday on County Road 2409, south of Barnsdall in Osage County.

The man, who the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said was 42, was driving a 1999 Ford F250.

Few details are known about the accident, according to the Patrol, and the investigation is continuing.

The man was transported by ambulance to St. John – Owasso, then transferred to St. John – Tulsa in critical condition with head, arm, and internal and external trunk injuries.
