Two weather watches in effect

A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 3 p.m. for the following counties in Oklahoma:

Alfalfa, Blaine, Custer, Dewey, Garfield, Grant; 
Kay, Kingfisher, Logan, Major, Noble, Nowata; 
Osage, Pawnee, Payne, Roger Mills, Washington, and Woods.

The watch was issued by the National Weather Service in Norman.

In addition, the McCord Fire Department said the NWS issued a Tornado Watch for Osage County until 6 p.m., including Bartlesville, Nowata, Pawhuska and Pawnee.
