Two students arrested at Ponca City High School

Ponca City Police arrested a 17-year-old boy on complaints of possession of paraphernalia and minor in possession of alcohol Tuesday morning at Ponca City High School.

A 17-year-old girl was arrested on a complaint of juvenile in possession of paraphernalia.

The two were arrested during a police search of the school. The police K-9 officer was a part of the search for drugs and other contraband.

Ponca City Police Chief Don Bohon confirmed Tuesday morning that students were held in their second hour classes while officers searched the school.
