A collision in Osage County Thursday afternoon left two men with leg injuries.

A 2007 Honda Accord, driven by Robert Jason Azbell, 38, of Okmulgee, Okla., collided with a 1994 Dodge pickup pulling a horse trailer. The pickup was driven by David Smith, 56, of Hominy, Okla.

Azbell and a passenger in his vehicle, Frederick Curtis Richardson, 49, of Pawhuska both were injured and transported to Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville. Azbell was treated and released, and Richardson was admitted in stable condition.

Smith was not injured.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Azbelle was driving southbound on CR 3551 and Smith was westbound on U.S. Highway 60.

The trooper said Azbell failed to stop at a stop sign and hit Smith’s truck. Both vehicles departed the roadway after the impact, the trooper’s report said.
