Two men were injured in a semi accident at 10:28 p.m. Monday on State Highway 58 and State Highway 51A, about 6 miles south of Fairview in Major County.

Ivan Stajkovic, 22, of Cutler Bay, Fla., was driving a 2007 Volvo tractor trailer north bound on State Highway 51A at a high rate of speed and failed to negotiate a curve, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports. The semi rolled a half time, sliding on the passenger side into the north bound lanes of State Highway 58.

Stajkovic was transported by a Trooper to Fairview Hospital, where he was treated and released.

A passenger, Borisav Cakarevic, 24, of Revere, Mass., was transported by Major County EMS to Fairview Hospital and flown by Air-Evac to OU Medical in Oklahoma City.

He was admitted in critical condition with head, trunk internal and trunk external injuries.

Cakarevic was pinned for 30 minutes before he was extricated by Fairview Fire Department and Longdale Fire Department, the Highway Patrol reports.
