Two arrested in drug case

Ponca City Police arrested two people Monday morning in the 900 block of South Ninth Street after serving a search warrant at the address.

Those arrested were Tiara Denea Shaw, 34, and Lee Otis Coburn Jr., 30, both of Ponca City.

They are being held on complaints of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 2,000 feet of a park or school; possession of meth with intent to distribute within 2,000 feet of a park or school, possession of marijuana without a tax stamp, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute within 2,000 feet of a school, possession of a controlled dangerous substance within 2,000 feet of a park or school, possession of drug proceeds and maintaining a dwelling where drugs are sold within 2,000 feet of a school or park.

Street value of these drugs is nearly $15,000, police said.

Also seized were more than 10 grams of meth, more than 8 grams of powder cocaine, less than one gram of crack cocaine, several ounces of hydro marijuana, a brick of marijuana weighing more than 130 grams and nearly $14,000 in currency, along with paraphernalia.
