Tulsa man shot in head

TULSA, Okla. (AP) – A man is in the hospital after being shot in the head in Tulsa.

The Tulsa World (http://bit.ly/1I15uxo ) reports the 23-year-old victim told police he and another man were sitting in a car drinking beer at the Creekside Apartments early Tuesday when they were approached by three men. Officer Leland Ashley said one of the men was carrying a gun.

Ashley said the victim and his companion were followed to another area of the apartment complex before one of the suspects fired several shots into the vehicle, striking the victim in the head.

The victim’s condition is unknown.
