Train Derailed Near Enid in Carmen Wednesday Due To High Winds

ENID, Oklahoma –

BNSF has confirmed that a train carrying empty intermodal containers derailed near Enid around 1 p.m. Wednesday.

A total of 21 rail cars carrying 32 empty containers came off the tracks.

Those close to the derailment said it shook the building at a nearby store.

No injuries were reported.

Crews are investigating.
