Beverly Bryant - November 11, 2016 11:15 am

The Ponca Playhouse production of “To Kill a Mockingbird” begins tonight at the playhouse, 301 South First Street.

Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Doors open 30 minutes before showtime. The same schedule applies for productions on Nov. 18-20.

This production is based on Harper Lee’s classic novel about racial tensions in the Deep South in the 1930s. Come visit the town of Maycomb, follow the story of Atticus Finch as he defends a kind and helpful black man against the false allegations of taking advantage of a white woman, see how the trial and outcome affects this little town and the families living there.

The box office is open from 11 a.m.  to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday or you can call and reserve tickets at  (580) 765-5360. Regular Tickets: $15 per production.
Student Tickets: $10 price per production. Group Tickets: $2 discount per ticket for groups of 20 or more.
