Ponca City Now - October 21, 2013 9:01 am

Ponca City has rallied together this month to save a lot of ta-tas.

And Soroptomist International of Ponca City will dedicate a whole evening to the cause tomorrow.

Cathy Cole, healthly women coordinator said the Breast Cancer Awareness Banquet has been inspiring women for years.

“The Soroptimist ladies have been doing this for 18 years and they are always in effort to help woman," Cole said. "That has inspired them every year to have the breast cancer awareness banquet. They are a group that help woman and girls.”

Fire Marshal, David Van Buskirk and his wife, Heather will be sharing inspiration with the attendees.

Heather will talk about her journey with Breast Cancer and David will explain his motivation with getting the Northern Oklahoma chapter of Pink Heals.

And there will be a chance to sign Hope, the Pink Heals pink fire truck.

The banquet will be held at Northeast Baptist Church and will include a catered dinner.

There are tickets still available and cost 20-dollars.

You can pick up your tickets at the healthly women office in the Ponca City Medical Center.
