Three New Assistant Principals Hired

Three new assistant principals have been hired for the 2024-2025 school year at Ponca City High School, Clark Crawford, Kaitlyn Pressnall and Kimberly Stafford.

Clark Crawford graduated from Kingfisher High School. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and his master’s degree from East Central University in Ada. He served as assistant principal and summer school principal for Yukon Public Schools. Prior to that he was a teacher and team leader for Choctaw/Nicoma Park Schools in Choctaw.

“My family and I are very excited to start our new journey in Ponca City,” he said. “It is a blessing to have the opportunity to help serve the students, staff, and community as an assistant principal at Ponca City High School. Go Wildcats!”

Kaitlyn Pressnall graduated from Kansas State University. She received her master’s degree from Wichita State University and her doctorate from Southwestern College in Winfield. She has served as principal of Winfield High School since 2023. Prior to that she was assistant principal at Winfield High School from 2021-2023. She has served as assistant director of special education for Winfield Public Schools and as assistant principal of Winfield Middle School.

“I am beyond ecstatic to join the Ponca City High School team,” she said. “I look forward to meeting the staff, students, families and community!”

Kimberly Stafford received her bachelor’s degree from Northeastern Oklahoma State University in Tahlequah in 1997 and from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in 2010. She received her master’s degree from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. She served as a high school counselor at McPherson High School in Kansas from 2023-2024 and prior to that was a high school counselor for Enid Public Schools. She has also worked for the Oklahoma Department of Career Technology Education and for Metro Technology Center. She worked in Ponca City from 2014-2015 as the Teen Pep Coordinator for Ponca City Schools.

“As a new assistant principal of Ponca City High School, I am committed to fostering an environment of academic excellence and school pride,” she said. “I look forward to being a part of the community. I am hopeful my leadership positively impacts PCHS!”
