Three killed, two injured in head-on collision near Asher

ASHER, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says three people were killed and two others injured in a head-on collision in central Oklahoma.

An OHP report says 55-year-old James Chadwick Cravens and two males, who have not been identified, died in the crash on Friday morning on U.S. 177 near Asher, about 45 miles southeast of Oklahoma City.

The report says two passengers in Cravens’ vehicle are hospitalized with injuries suffered in the collision.

The report says the crash occurred when a northbound vehicle carrying the two unknown males crossed the center line of the highway and crashed head-on into a southbound vehicle driven by Cravens.
