ANADARKO — Three people died about 2:25 p.m. Tuesday in a collision on U.S. Highway 281 just north of County Street 2670, 1.4 miles north of Anadarko in Caddo County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports Amanda L. Satoe, 39, of Anadarko was driving a 2002 Dodge Durango southbound on U.S. 281 while Larry G. Fitzgerald, 67, of Lecanto, Fla., was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado, towing a 24-foot bumper pull camper trailer northbound.

The Patrol reported Satoe and a passenger, Joshua A. Westerman, 32, of Marshall, Texas, were previously involved in a domestic disturbance, with Satoe driving at a high rate of speed. Her car departed the roadway to the right, overcorrected and crossed US281, hitting Fitzgerald’s truck head on.

Satoe’s vehicle was pushed back northbound, ejecting her for an unknown distance. Her vehicle came to rest in the roadway. Fitzgerald’s truck left the roadway to the right, rolling ¼ time, coming to rest on its passenger side.

All three were pronounced dead at the scene by Anadarko EMS from injuries suffered in the collision. Their bodies were transported by Southern Plains Mortuary and Transport Services to the Medical Examiner’s Office.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol’s investigation is continuing.
