Three From Ponca City Injured in Ambulance Accident in Tulsa

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, an injury collision occurred Monday at approximately 5 p.m. on US-412 eastbound, just west of 49th West Ave, near Tulsa.

John Anders, 32, of Ponca City was driving a 2020 Freightliner Ambulance when the eastbound vehicle hydroplaned and departed the roadway to the right, rolling an unknown number of times. Anders was transported by EMSA to St. John Hospital in Tulsa where he was admitted in stable condition trunk internal injuries.

Robbie N. Monroe, 68, of Ponca City, a passenger in the ambulance, was also transported by EMSA to St. John Hospital in Tulsa, where she was admitted in stable condition with head, trunk internal, truck external, arm and leg injuries.

The third person in the ambulance, Landon Carpenter, age 28, of Ponca City, was taken by EMSA to St. John Hospital in Tulsa, where he was admitted in stable condition with head, trunk internal, truck external, arm and leg injuries.
