Third Street Will be Closed Between Walnut and Oklahoma for Reconstruction Beginning Wednesday

Ellsworth Construction OKC, LLC, dba A-Tech Paving, has entered a contract with the City of Ponca City to reconstruct Third Street from Walnut Avenue to Oklahoma Avenue. Work will include construction of new storm sewer improvements, installation of a new 6-inch water line and reconstruction of the street pavement.

The road will be closed to traffic beginning Wednesday, June 29th.

The total construction time for the project is estimated to be 90 calendar days. During the project, Third Street will be closed to all traffic from the south side of the Walnut Avenue intersection to the north side of the Oklahoma Avenue intersection. Vehicles will not be permitted in the work area. Signing and barricades will be in place informing motorists of the construction.
