Wednesday saw the ground breaking ceremony for a huge new facility at the Tonkawa casino at US 60 and I-35.

Construction has started on “The Hub” with the tie-in to the existing casino structure for new addition to the complex that will include a 12-lane bowling alley, two theaters, a micro-brewery, a state-of-the art video arcade and e-gaming area, and a new sports bar that will feature 50 independent TV screens and what will be the longest bar in the State of Oklahoma.

The project should be finished in about 9 months, depending on weather, and will add many new jobs to the current casino/hotel employee base.
