The Grand Cigar and Lounge opens this afternoon

Grand Cigar and Lounge, 217 South Second Street, opens for business at 4 p.m. Friday, July 12.

The new lounge is located in the building once occupied by the historic Dick and Runt’s Bar-B-Q cafe, a Ponca City landmark. A mural painted by Dr. Bob Palmer memorializes the cafe on the north side of the building. Palmer is a noted muralist who teaches at the University of Central Oklahoma.

The Grand Cigar & Lounge offers premium cigars, a fully stocked bar and a state of the art air purification system for a comfortable clean atmosphere. Memberships with different benefits are available by the month.

Among the lounge’s offerings are beers from Vortex Alley on tap.
