Lake Ponca Camp Grounds-

The City of Ponca City Parks and Recreation Department will begin the demolition and new construction of the Lake Ponca Campground Bathrooms and Shower Facility on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.  The demolition of the current bathroom/shower facility will begin a three-month construction process to prepare the site for a new bathroom and shower facility.

During construction, the Lake Ponca campground will be closed due to intermittent power outages and water line upgrades. The Lake Ponca campground and new bathroom and shower facility are expected to be open on or around March 1, 2022.

The purchase of a CXT Cheyenne Bathroom And Shower Facility was approved at the October 25, 2021 Board of Commission meeting. The new prefabricated restroom/shower facility will be similar in appearance to the restroom facility installed at the Lake Ponca Deep Water Ramp in 2018.
