NORMAN, Okla. (AP) – Police in Norman say a 17-year-old boy has been arrested in the shooting death of a man at an apartment complex.

Capt. Tom Easley said Saturday that the boy was arrested Friday on first-degree murder and burglary charges in the Sept. 14 shooting death of Nicholas Williams.

Easley says the teenager is being held in the Cleveland County jail and is expected to be charged as an adult next week.

Easley says the boy lived in the same apartment complex as the victim and that investigators believe he was burglarizing Williams’ apartment when he shot and killed the victim.
