Team interviewing candidates for 33rd Leadership Class

Starting today, July 9, Leadership Chairs Don Bohon, Diane Anderson and Luke Garrison will start interviewing participants for the Chamber of Commerce’s 33rd Ponca City Leadership Class.

This year there are 38 applications, the most applications ever received, Chamber President Rich Cantillon said.

“We typically receive around 22 applications,” he said. “Each year we can only take 20 in the leadership class. It will be a tough decision, this year, for our Leadership Chairs.”

Cantillon also said the chamber needs a new street map done for Ponca City.

The Chamber has contracted with Community Matters to produce the Chamber’s new Ponca City street map. They will start soliciting ads this week.

“Please consider supporting this effort,” Cantillon said. “Every day individuals come in to the office asking for a street map. Our old map supplier stopped producing the street map, so now we are working with Community Matters.”
