TCU wins over Texas Tech in Big 12 baseball tournament

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – A.J. Balta had four RBIs, including a three-run double in the second inning, to help sixth-seeded TCU make easy work of third-seeded Texas Tech with a 12-2 win in the opening round of the Big 12 baseball tournament.

Balta finished 2 for 3 for the Horned Frogs, who advanced to face No. 7 seed West Virginia on Thursday.
