Tax preparers available at library starting Feb. 1

AARP Tax preparers will be at the library starting February 1. The AARP will be available when the library opens at 9:00 am, MONDAY through THURSDAY each week. Please ask library staff for more information. Things to remember to bring:

•   All income documents
•   Last year’s tax forms and this year’s tax forms
•   W-2, W-2G, 1099 (misc. SSA. etc.)
•   Schedule A long form – itemize Medical bills (DR., Rx, Etc.)
•   Real estate tax receipt
•   Mortgage interest
•   Donation (church, charity, etc.)
• Photo Identification: Driver’s License, Military ID, Passport
• Social Security Card (must have for everybody on return)
• Other Documents
• 1098-E (Student Loan Interest),
• 1098-T (Tuition Statements),
• Daycare Expense (must have provider’s name, address, & EIN)
