Tax help available at library until April 13

PONCA CITY LIBRARY APRIL PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS

Tax preparation continues in the library business section and will go until April 13.

AARP will be available at the library from 9 a.m. t o 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Please be sure to have all tax information with you such as photo IDs, Social Security cards for each dependent you are claiming, and previous tax information. Please remember we do not allow food or drinks in the library.


Visit the library for a fun Giant Easter Egg Library Hunt and Win a fun prize when finished finding all the Giant Easter Eggs! 


 Don’t forget to pre-register for Knight of Murder! This free library program is all about finding who did what in a fun character role play while enjoying lots of great food and entertainment. Each Mystery Program requires at least 15 characters. Registrants will be mailed a character information card two to three weeks before the party so costumes can be prepared. (Costumes are not required, but do make the event more fun). Sign up today for any of these program dates and times: 5 p.m. May 11;  3 p.m. May 12; 2 p.m.  May 13; 2 p.m. May 14;  and 6 p.m. May 15 at the Ponca City Library Reference Desk at 515 E. Story time and Craft 11 a.m.

Recommended ages 0–6 will enjoy a fun singing exercise and then embark on an enchanting storybook read by the Children’s Librarian, followed by a unique craft. If you have any questions regarding story time please call the library at 767-0345.

Thursday, April 6

Origami 101 3 p.m.

This is a come and go event in the library program room for the entire family to enjoy. All materials will be provided at this FREE event.

Tuesday, April 11

Sewing Circle 2 to 4 p.m., or 6 to 8 p.m.

Learn to crochet at this free event! There will be 10-12 patron availability. Please pre-register at the reference desk, call 767-0345 or email the library at [email protected]. Must be 16 or older to register!

Wednesday, April 12

Join other readers for a discussion about the book “I’m Thinking Of Ending Things” by Iain Reid.  For registration, sign up at the reference desk or call 767-0345. There are a limited amount of books available that can be picked up at the reference desk.

Brick Builders 1 p.m.

Looking for something to do with the entire family on Saturday? Kids can be creative and use their imagination to create something with toy blocks. Parents can join the fun too! This will take place in the Ponca City Library Program Room.
