Carla Denoya with the Ponca City Art Center said they currently have an exhibit made up of students artwork.

“The exhibit right now is the elementary school, there is Trout, Garfield, Liberty, Union," Denoya said. "It’s just the elementary school for the students and they have done a wonderful job. We have some really talented children artistically and this exhibit will be through the end of the month.”

Denoya said there are more than 100 projects displayed.

She said this artwork goes beyond crayons and coloring books.

“There is a little bit of everything," Denoya said. "There is ceramics, there drawings, there is these using paper cutouts, some of it is ink and pen, line design and a lot of just creative energy by the kids.”

The student art exhibit was debuted March 2 and will run through March 30.

The Ponca City Art Center is open Wednesday through Sunday from 1 to 5.
