New pool to be built in Tonkawa
The Tonkawa City Council voted on Tuesday, August 4, to proceed with building the new Tonkawa Aquatic Center at Blinn Park.
Tonkawa's first pool, which closed four years ago, was built back in the 1930s.

Athletes at Northern Oklahoma College Tonkawa earned a 3.29 Grade Point Average for the 2019-20 academic year.
Athletic Director Jeremy Hise recently announced the academic achievement for NOC Tonkawa athletes.
