Swim Team is Doing Well

Ponca City Wildcats Swim Coach Heather Harris had this to say about the Yukon meet, “The meet went well. The girls won which make them 2-0 and the boys lost which makes them 1-1. The boys team was missing Tate Burdick Thursday night, which really hurt the team. Our relays that would have placed first all placed second and those were the points that made us lose to Yukon. Both our boys and girls teams are swimming really well for this time in the season. Both the boys and girls team have top times in the state.
Our next meet is Tuesday against Mustang and we’ve never swam Mustang. I’ve looked at some of their results this season and they are about the same size and speed as us so it should be a good meet.”
