They attended two days of rehearsals before performing alongside the other selected students from across the state. Their concert was held on Saturday, November 19 at the Petree Recital Hall  under the direction of Robyn Hilger, State Teacher of the Year.

Four West Middle School students were accepted into the Seventh Grade Honor Orchestra. They include Liliana Alva (bass), Frankie Diaz (viola), Brendalinn Gale (violin) and Jhansi Rapeti (violin).
