Stolen school vehicle recovered

A Ponca City Schools truck was located in the 700 block of Marland Drive at 8:33 a.m. Saturday, Ponca City Police reported.

The Communications Center had received a call from the school maintenance office about a burglary and a missing vehicle. Police took a report and the vehicle was released to a school district employee.

A trailer also was missing from the district's lot in the 200 block of East Emporia, a police report stated. It was located at the north end of the American Legion building in the 400 block of West South Avenue. A gate was reported damaged in the theft.
