Stillwater: Restaurants and Bars can Apply to Extend Outdoor Service Areas

(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA – August 20, 2020) –   Starting tomorrow, Stillwater bars  and restaurants can apply for a temporary outdoor expansion permit to extend service to outdoor areas such as sidewalks, on-street parking, or private parking lots. Mayor Will Joyce signed a proclamation today authorizing the temporary use of certain public ways as a way for businesses to operate effectively yet safely under COVID-19 restrictions.

Eligibility, application requirements and operation requirements are outlined in the August 20 proclamation. The City will post an application Friday, Aug. 21.
