Stillwater man dies after Tuesday accident

A Stillwater man died at 1:18 a.m. Thursday from injuries he suffered in an accident Tuesday afternoon west of Perkins, Oklahoma.

Wayne Keith Prebehalla, 50, was the driver of a 1991 Chevrolet which was westbound on State Highway 33 near Range Road. His vehicle left  the roadway to the right, then he overcorrected and crossed the center line, departing the roadway to the left. He again overcorrected and the car became airborne, crossed the roadway to the right, rolled twice, ejecting all occupants and coming to a rest on its wheels.

Prebehalla was transported by Guthrie EMS to OU Medical Center in Norman where he was admitted in critical condition with head injuries.

A passenger, Herlinda Deleon Berg, 58, of Stillwater, was also transported by Guthrie EMS to OU Medical Center in Norman. She was admitted in critical but stable condition with trunk internal injuries.
