Oklahoma City – For nearly 20 years the Oklahoma State Fair Scholarship Program has provided almost $250,000 to deserving and qualified Oklahoma high school seniors. The Oklahoma State Fair Scholarship exists to recognize the accomplishments of exceptional youth, encourage their continued education through higher learning and to assist them in their future educational pursuits.

Oklahoma State Fair, Inc. is committed to promoting education and assisting in the cost of acquiring advanced education by providing a one-time scholarship of $2,500 to each recipient. Despite the cancellation of the 2020 Oklahoma State Fair, our organization felt compelled to award the annual scholarships regardless of the current
circumstances.

In such, these 12 deserving students have received a one-time scholarship of $2,500 to be used toward expenses incurred with the student’s attendance at a college, university, vocational or technological school. Scholarship winners are selected based on overall scholastic performance, leadership, community service and Oklahoma State Fair involvement. This year, Oklahoma State Fair, Inc. awarded $30,000 in scholarships. We would like to offer congratulations to the following recipients of the 2020 Oklahoma State Fair Scholarship:

• Jackson Caves – Amber-Pocasset High School
• Kindle Chamberlain – Southwest Covenant Schools
• Bryant Chitsey – Choctaw High School
• KayAnn Eck – Thomas Fay Custer High School
