Seventh Grade Vaccine Reminder

Mike Seals - July 18, 2021 10:07 pm

Seventh grade students are required to have an adult Tdap shot before they will be fully registered for the 2021-2022 school year. This means parents may fill out the registration but it will not be complete until the PCPS Registration Center, 111 West Grand Avenue, has received the updated shot record.

Students will not be permitted to be enrolled in classes, pick up schedules or attend the first day of school without updated shot records on file.

If you are the parent or guardian of a seventh grade student, please ensure your child’s shot records are up-to-date and provide a copy to the Registration Center. If parents want to register completely online, this is also an option. Visit the PCPS website to register and send in a scanned copy of your child’s updated shot record to [email protected].

The Kay County Health Department will be providing on-site immunizations at the Registration Center on Thursday, July 22 and July 29 from 1 to 6 p.m. The following vaccines will be available: Tdap, HPV and MCV. COVID-19 Pfizer vaccines will also be available for students ages 12 and up. In order to receive vaccines a legal guardian must be present.

All required vaccines will be available at the Kay County Health Department located at 433 Fairview. They can be reached at 580-762-1641.
