Second annual color run set for May 6

The Ponca City Park and Recreation Department has set the Second Annual Kaleidoscope 5K Kolor Run for May 6.

The run will be at Wentz Camp in Ponca City and registration starts at 8:15 a.m. The run itself begins at 9 a.m.

Registration is $5 and includes sunglasses for the first 100 participants.

Organizers said it is not a timed event and is only for fun for everyone. Strollers are allowed, but no dogs.

The color is food grade corn starch and is 100 percent natural and safe.

Participants are allowed to wear goggles or sunglasses and may wish to wear a hat or bandanna.
